Houston ASDA Predental Leadership Award

The ASDA National Leadership Conference was developed to bridge the gap between academics, business, and the part leadership plays in the training of dental students. Over the 3-day event, both dental and predental students will receive in-depth training necessary to be successful as a business owner, team leader, and manager. 

The Predental Leadership Award was created to provide incentive for predental students to gain exposure to organized dentistry, ASDA, and meet student dentist leaders from around the country.

2018's recipient is Alisha Virani, who received an all-expense paid trip to this year's NLC in Chicago, which took place from November 16 - November 18, 2018.

Applicants should exhibit excellence in academics, leadership, community service and be considered all-around strong applicants for the cycle. 

Applicant requirements:

·         Texas Resident

·         MUST be ASDA Predental Member

·         24 hours undergraduate science credits

·         Must be applying to dental school in 2018 or 2019

·         Must be available for travel November 16th - November 18th

·         If selected for interview must provide up-to-date transcript
