Interview Preparation Day
Saturday June 14th, 2025
This event was designed to prepare pre-dental students for not only dental school interviews, but for any interview they come across in the future. ASDA members here at UTSD dedicate a Saturday to help prepare pre-dental students for one of the most INTIMIDATING parts of the interview process. The event will include an introduction from the Dean, Interviews with Faculty & Students, Professional Head Shots, Personal Statement Feedback, and interview tips from current dental students.
Eligibility: Current pre-dental students who have applied or will be applying this application cycle or for next years, will be given the opportunity to participate in Interview Preparation Day!

*Students who will attend this event should email (irene.e.jayan@uth.tmc.edu) a copy of their personal statement and CV in advance as well as bring an extra copy of the documents to the event. You may also include a headshot (optional).
All documents emailed should contain the following format for the file name: LastName_FirstName_DocumentType (ex. Personal Statement, Headshot, CV). The following is an example of an acceptable file name: Nighn_Kay_PersonalStatement
Please include any dietary restrictions in the email as well to ensure accommodations are made with ample time.
